    Rebounding On A Mini Trampoline

    Monday, September 13th, 2010

Rebounding is a new form of exercise that can be compared to bouncing on a bed as a child. It serves as a great cardio workout.   It can take some time to get adjusted to rebounding on a mini trampoline. Remember to wear shoe’s that won’t allow for slipping such as a good pair of jogging shoes.
There are a few different exercises you can do with your rebounder mini trampoline.

Bounce – Stand in the center of your trampoline with your feet slightly apart. Without lifting your feet, begin to start to slowly bounce.  If your trampoline has a hand rail, you can hold it for support while you learn to bounce. If not go very slow and be extra cautious with your first time bouncing.

Walk – This is mostly used for warming up or cooling down. Instead of bouncing off the trampoline, slowly lift your heals but do not lift your toes off the trampoline. You can move your arms as if you were walking.

Jog – This is the best workout for increasing your heart rate. Using your basic stance for bouncing, begin by lifting each foot an inch or two off the rebounder. You can move your arms as if you were jogging.

There are more advanced rebounder workout routines which can be found on the internet.  The above are the starter exercises for your mini trampoline.  Trampoline rebounding can be fun and healthy and is a great way to get yourself back into working out daily.

    Trampoline Safety

    Tuesday, September 7th, 2010

Trampolines bring a lot of enjoyment and health benefits to families.  People continue to buy trampolines for both fitness and fun but one of the biggest concerns for trampoline owners is “Safety.”

If you are looking to purchase a trampoline or you already own a trampoline, safety is a concern. Here at Pure Fun we want you to enjoy your trampoline and keep safe. We suggest making sure your trampoline pad is correctly assembled on to your trampoline. The pad will keep the user from accidently hurting themselves on the springs.

Make sure your trampoline is on a level surface, anything unbalanced could cause the trampoline to move while in use.  Uneven surfaces are very bad for your trampoline.  Make sure to never use your trampoline in bad weather conditions. If you trampoline is not covered and protected from weather, make sure to wipe it down and dry it off before use. You do not want to slip and hurt yourself.

Trampolines are made for bouncing but you really have to be careful while using the trampoline.  Never use your trampoline for somersaults or flips. Doing these acrobatic maneuvers can cause serious injury and will increase the chance of injury on a trampoline.

Please make sure to review the safety guild lines for your Pure Fun Trampoline before and during use.  Safety should be your number one concern for your trampoline. Reading, understanding and knowing your safety guide lines is the first step for safe jumping.

Bouncing on a trampoline can help your children today and in the future!
The trampoline bounce! It’s so easy to get started but yet almost impossible to give up. Today we see more and more children growing into better athletes. Why, you ask? It’s simple; because trampoline bouncing improves so many areas of co-ordination (such as agility, rhythm and timing).  Many athletes practice on trampolines to improve their motor skills, including divers, gymnasts, skaters and cheerleaders.  No matter what the sport, owning a Pure Fun Trampoline at home will help your children to a brighter and more athletic future.  Having a trampoline in your backyard could help produce the next big sports star, your child.

Looking for recreation activities and personal fitness at home?
There are more and more families in today’s world that are looking to bring recreational activates into their home.  There are too many families with expensive monthly bills for cable service, games and other sources of family entertainment.  These kind of activities can be fun and relaxing but they are not always “healthy.” Owning a trampoline on the other hand, provides physical activity and a healthy lifestyle. Trampoline bouncing can be a great activity for the entire family and it’s inexpensive; with a rewarding result. So why not add a Pure Fun Trampoline to your backyard?

Everyone loves to bounce on a trampoline!
It’s hard to find someone on this planet that doesn’t like the motion of bouncing. When you start your child bouncing at a young age, they can benefit so much.  You and your children will be amazed with how well their skills will improve. Co-ordination and balance will improve greatly and your children will find such a healthy benefit while trampoline jumping.  It’s proven fact that children who play on a trampoline at a young age are less likely to get hurt in recreational sports such as skiing, skating and bicycle riding.  Having your children started on a trampoline benefits them on better knowledge for protecting themselves in other sports if they fall down. Like falling down in a youth football game; or dance performance.

Bottom line:  “Trampoline bouncing is FUN!”
You can’t deny the fact that owning a trampoline provides a healthy but fun time for your entire family.  There is nothing better than the family weekend with your brand new, inexpensive Pure Fun Trampoline.  The benefits can’t be argued and the amount of smiles you’ll see can’t be replaced.  To sum it up “Owning a trampoline is beneficial to the entire family; trampoline bouncing is fun and healthy.”

    The Secret of Trampoline Safety

The majority of people all over the world know a trampoline to be device that has a rebounding effect when someone jumps on it. This truly unique invention is worth each dime when you see how many joyful moments it brings to your family, your friends and to you as well. The bouncing effect is no more than a consequence of a piece of cloth and some springs attached to the frame with tension so extreme, that bounces off the energy received from a jumper. Trampolines have found their place in the hearts of many youngsters, and remain one of the most positive reflections to their childhood when they grow up.

Families all over the world are installing their private trampolines for enjoyment of their kids and for keeping kids away from the street, showing them a different, healthier way of spending their free time. Investment into a new trampoline pays off only when the product you have bought works seamlessly for at least as long as your children have interest in using it. But reality is quite different and most trampolines are seen to suffer severe damages within a short period of time. Some cracks or from sun burned pale spots on the pad may not seem as something worth worrying about, but this can actually bring the pad to tear up and your kid may brake his legs or worse.

    Trampoline Exercise Routines

What’s a trampoline for if not to have fun on? Sure enough, trampoline exercise routines are good for people who avoid gyms like the plague and are bored by normal, mundane routines. A trampoline is easy to use and gentle on the joints, while also being fun to work out on.

Rebounding, which is what trampoline exercise is called, is easy on your joints as well as adaptable to your pace and intensity. What is most important is that you are well-adjusted to the feel of your trampoline before you begin using it in earnest and that you are fully comfortable working out on it.

Follow the tips given below to make the most out of your trampoline:

Remember to always wear comfortable, non-slip shoes when using the trampoline

Test out your trampoline, get your body used to it before you start exercising properly

Start with a warm-up routine for about five minutes at a slow-to-moderate pace, if you are a beginner. Your muscles need to get used to rebounding.

This is a good warm-up and cool-down exercise: from a basic starting stance, alternately lift your heels. Do not lift your toes off the trampoline and swing your arms as you would while walking.

To raise your heart rate and begin strenuous exercise, alternately lift each foot an inch or

Benefits of Using a Trampoline Enclosure

An exercise trampoline is a great way to exercise without the hassle of going out to exercise or the monotonous nature of other exercise programs. It provides many health benefits like improved blood circulation, oxygen capacity, and cardiovascular health, improved muscle tone and increased energy levels. Spending half an hour jumping up and down on a trampoline a day is enough to obtain these benefits, and best of all it is enjoyable and stress-relieving. But with all exercise programs, safety is a concern. If you look at someone bouncing up and down on a trampoline, you will get the impression that he can bounce out of bounds and hurt himself. If this is what prevents you from getting into fitness via an exercise trampoline, then a trampoline enclosure would prove to be useful to you.

An enclosure for a trampoline is an attachment that can be bought separately or bought together with your trampoline. It is composed of nets hoisted by several rods that go around the trampoline and are fastened there. This enclosure presents several advantages when it comes to the safety of the users of the trampoline. Uncontrollable jumps that can result to injury from falling to the ground can be prevented. The risk of injuries coming from jumping out of bounds can be lessened. This is advantageous too, if kids are using the trampoline. You can keep your peace of mind
